Fluke? 67, can I do it again?

Last Thursday, the stars must have been aligned with pure thoughts in my heart because the golf gods were good to me. I couldn't do anything wrong, 6 birdies, 2 birdies and the rest pars added up to 67, 4 under par. On hole number 3 when my drive went a little long on a dog leg right and I had to hit a 60 yard shot over a 50 foot tree blocking the green, I landed it 8 feet from the flag stick and rolled it in for a birdie, I knew it was going to be a good day.

The question is; can I do it again will I be able to break the 70 barrier again soon? I will give it a try again this Thursday.

Ella hitched a ride on my back tonight and we cruised the neighborhood.

We also raced up and down the street.

Keeping up the blog has been tough lately, especially when anything past 9:00pm feels like midnight.

Work at UAB eye care is going great, I have not permanently blinded anyone yet.

Eutaw?

We traveled through Eutaw (pronounced Utah) on our way to Demopolis, AL. today. When I tell people I am from Utah they think I am from Eutah, now I can say I have been there.

We spent the day with the Green family exploring opportunites for after I graduate. It was a great afternoon with a personal tour of the town, including the two golf courses.

Here's ella and grandma anne with their pet snake.

Uncle Kirk, Ella and jake. Kirk is a marine and leaves to Iraq in about a month.

Here's Dug with his posse of girls. Dug just got a saleen extreme. If you don't know what that is, go see Transformers. It's the cop car for the bad guys.
Ella came home from Utah with her ears pierced. She's been asking for a year, and she must have wanted them bad cause she didn't cry a drop.

Summer

Since Brittney and the girls are in Utah I found some time to update the blog. There is too much fun stuff to do in the summer to keep up with the blog and when my bed time is 9:00 pm that doesn't leave much blog time. Brittney took the camera to Utah so no photos today.

4th of July I played golf at the Capstone Club of Alabama, 45 holes of heaven. One of the best courses I have ever played and the best part was I was the only one on the course. First round score 84 second round 74. Don't be surprised if you hear word of me relocating to Brookwood Alabama.

It rained today so instead of golfing I hiked through the woods and picked up a few hundred golf balls.

Life is really good not having to worry about school and tests, and I am having a great time working at UAB eye care.

It will be a lonely couple of weeks without the family around but I have plans to be at the course a lot to pass the time.
