Getting Fat in Florida

I spent the last 3 days eating and sitting, eating and sitting, eating and sitting. We ate really well, steak, lobster, shrimp, frog legs, all that junk, pretty awesome if you are into eating. I would rather be golfing, biking, anything but sitting and eating. Johnson & Johnson is a great company, treated us with first class accommodations.

Clark's Fish Camp, this is Todd eating fried pickles along with his swamp platter: frog legs, alligator tail, calamari, conch, catfish, scallops, shrimp, oysters, everything that lives in a swamp fried up and served. Frog legs taste like chicken.

Fish camp, Fun place, over the water, gators and turtles swimming around.

True Story, we even have the same name.

Dr. Gil Morgan

Morgan was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He graduated from East Central State College in Ada, Oklahoma in 1968. In 1972, Gil earned a Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee before turning professional later that year.
Started playing golf at age 15...Holds a Doctor of Optometry degree and still keeps a current license, even though he has never practiced...Decided during his junior year at East Central State (OK) to pursue a career in golf, but waited until earning his optometry degree before turning professional.

Career Earnings: $22,800,000+

my middle name is Morgan, maybe I can follow in his footsteps.

New personal best 73

I was on fire at the golf course today, hit every green in regulation except 3 and I was under par until I number 17 and 18 and the pressure got to me, I double bogeyed both and ended up with a 73. Must have been the pressure relief of never having to take another final or take another class for the rest of my life.
I will not be golfing again until at least next Friday when I get to Utah. I am leaving for Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday for a 3 day conference at The Vision Care Institute, 3 days of luxury living and contact lens training all paid for by Johnson & Johnson. Then off to Utah with the family on Thursday.
This is Todd and Gina's son Luke, he is a crazy kid.

Preaching Golfers

I played some golf with the Missionaries and Todd yesterday. Elder Mathews and I smoked Todd and Elder Landau by 12 strokes, best ball format. Elder Mathews has only played two rounds of golf in his life, once two weeks ago and once yesterday, he started to get the hang of it and made a few saves for us. I was out for revenge because the Elder Landau / Elder Mathews team beat me by one stroke a couple of weeks ago, Elder Landau, a former scratch golfer chipped in on 18 and took it from me.

Me, ripping a 3 wood from the fairway

Me again, 7 iron approach shot.

Elder "scratch" Landau

We played at the ghetto golf course as you can tell by the brown fairways, but for $17 you can't really complain.

I took my last final today, I will not coment since the results are not in yet, especially since I went golfing yesterday instead of studying.

sorriest blogger around

It is crazy when you go to bed at 9:30 and you feel like you are going to bed too late. It has been wild around here lately, I am finishing up my last classes and Brittney is bring in the $$ working like mad to pay my bills, doing insane jobs for some new clients and always the Noni. Needless to say we have been a bunch of zombies as of late and the blog is on the back back burner.
I had my last classes ever yesterday, now I just have to pass my finals next week. All of my classmates are studying hard this weekend, I am going golfing.
