Dash Gillespie
A little non-traditional but i've almost got kyle convinced.
What do you think?
The middle name is up for grabs.
He is still holding out for Grant Morgan Gillespie. Dug is holding out for Luke William Gillespie. I personally think dug just wants to use his starwar lines.
See if it grows on you.

cute. i really like it. middle name should be morgan. and we didn't know luke was in the running? oh and tell kyle to forget about grant. you are not birthing a fifty year old.
Well..... not so much, but if you like it go for it!!
Not a huge fan but it is growing on me. It doesn't matter what you name your kids though- they could pull off anything they are so darn cute.
A pinch of this, a dash of this. Dash to the store for me. Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, etc. Okay- have to get them out now before he comes. JK I just love that you found another verb to consider. I still love Morgan so I think that would be a good middle name.
verbs rule. we are action people.
fits if he's a racer, in marketing, a doctor, . . . i've been yelling it around the house to see if it could work.

hmmm...i didn't want to mention it before, but i can't stop thinking about the incredibles and then i think about how it will be really sad if dash is a really slow runner :) is kyle still convinced? and karin's comment about dasher is actually kind of timely, seeing as how he is due on christmas :) we can't wait to meet the little guy.
I like Luke, and Grant. Why haven't I heard those ones yet? I like Dash a lot too. It's a toss up, I don't know what to tell you except name him before he gets here!

I'm thinking that this would give him an enormous leg up on learning to spell his name ie - & Gillespie!
i randomly googled the name "dash gillespie" since that is my brother's name, and came across this post. i thought my mom was the only one who would think of that name! dash is actually named daniel, but has gone by "dash" since he was born. my mom thought that he would eventually become "dan" but he is dash, 31 and loving it...very fitting strong name, i LOVE IT!!!
