This is cute if you can get over ella invading his personal space.

The Year of the Monkey
So, Kyle and I have declared this the Year of Fun. We have a couple vacations planned and are going to take advantage of our time in the south by riding bike paths in charleston, savannah, and seaside.
Some years have been the Year of Work, the Year of Graduation, the Year of Blessings, the Year of the Babies . . . I am excited to try out the Year of Fun.
-------------------------
Kyle took each of the girls out on a special date for their birthdays.
Ella wanted to get dressed up and go to dinner. "It was romantic even though it was my dad."
Kate decided to go golfing. I'm sure she came up with that on her own.
----------------------------
Kyle and I were born in the Year of the Monkey. What year are you?
People born in the Year of the Monkey are the erratic geniuses of the cycle. Clever, skillful, and flexible, they are remarkably inventive and original and can solve the most difficult problems with ease. There are few fields in which Monkey people wouldn't be successful but they have a disconcerting habit of being too agreeable. They want to do things now, and if they cannot get started immediately, they become discouraged and sometimes leave their projects. Although good at making decisions, they tend to look down on others. Having common sense, Monkey people have a deep desire for knowledge and have excellent memories. Monkey people are strong willed but their anger cools quickly. They are most compatible with the Dragon and Rat.

Oh, the places they go
Even though we stay home a lot, Ella and Kate travel the world in their imaginations. And they are even starting to incorporate boy stuff into their pretend play.
"This doll is the mom and this is her son. They don't have a dad because he died. But before he died, he taught them how to fight!"
Kung fu panda? you're guess is as good as mine.
Here are some pictures from the girls birthday party. If you live in utah and need a good party place, kangaroo zoo rocks.

Does this shirt make him look chubby?
All I can say is everything that's happened since Dec. 11 has been a gift. Dash is perfect. He loves to cuddle and is so happy. He is the perfect addition to our little family.
Everyone says three is a big adjustment but we are loving it. No baby blues, no stress, just a lot of love. (We don't try to go anywhere past the duckpond though, and that probably helps.)
Ella's still up to her usual antics: "mom, don't interrupt me while I'm dreaming."
Kate has taken southern respect to a new level. "No, Ma'am!" (Her talking, not me.) She also declared yesterday, "panties, panties, panties" and wouldn't let me put a diaper on her. No accidents yet but I hope she forgets about potty training for awhile. I need another month to gear up.
Kyle spends his nights scheming to become a professional golfer. I wish him the best of luck. He also bought me a bike for my birthday! YEAH! and the weather is 78 degrees so we are loving it!
Also this week, I've temporarily come out of retirement, hired a nanny for 2 hours a day, was released as Relief Society President!!! AWESOME!!! and am now in primary. I have 18 pounds to lose before our hot date in puerto rico so i better stop typing and go exercise.
