smell the epoxy . . .

Today's pictures represent a day in the life. I will give you the mini tour: This is Kate asleep on our bottom step after Kyle put her in bed at least 20 times. Super nannny says: "No talking, no spanking, just put her back." i tried to encourage him from the couch where i was snuggling with Dash.

This next picture is one of my favorites. It perfectly represents Kyle's knack for customizing/fixing just about anything. He is currently on a quest to create the ultimate bag. I think his skills are hot. And I am just now envisioning Kyle's perfect day: 18 holes, some yummy food, a family bike ride, and an evening with his epoxy (oops, just informed it is regripping solvent.) you get the idea.

although it looks staged, it wasn't. He lines up his vault so he knows what options he has when mixing and matching shafts and heads. Note: when dash's baby syringe, my nail polish remover, and other household items go missing i can usually find them on his work bench. You never know what tool will do the job. i think it is cute as long as he leaves my williams/sonoma anything alone.

ella was asleep by the time the camera came out today. we found contraband under her bed this week. cheetos, whipping cream, and cadberry eggs. at least she has good taste.

and this final video is dash. i sound like a big idiot talking in my baby voice, so i post it soley out of love for the grandmothers.

Ella has been dreaming . . .

Ella just told me,

"Mom, I've really been thinking . . . actually, I've even dreamed about it . . . I've been thinking we should get a servant. You know, somebody that works so we don't have to do it all, so we can all take a break."

she is brilliant. i love my ella.

Tender Moments

So, Dash's blessing yesterday was a tender day for me. It was an awesome thing to have the men in my life (dad, husband, and dash) together at one time. If only we had Frank, Roger, and our brothers it would have been complete.

I didn't hear anything in the blessing about speed, :) but Kyle did bless Dash to know he was loved and to help others feel loved as well.

I truly believe that we are all children of God, and that he loves each of us and watches over us all the time. I hope to help my kids feel this love so they can be faithful and optimistic as they grow up and carve their own way.

These last 6 months have truly been a gift. Besides having Dash, sometime in the fall I made a conscious decision to stop worrying so much and to excersize a little faith that things are as they should be. It is making all the difference.

Anyway, I love you all, my family and friends! We pray for you every night and hope there are sweet things in store for all of you this spring.

Demopolis is better with family!

We love having the family in town. We are blessing Dash tomorrow. hopefully Kyle blesses him to be fast so he can live up to his name. i will let you know how it goes.

check out these cute pictures! Dash is such a smiley baby but i haven't been able to take one of him laughing because he gets distracted by the red light on the camera.

Anyway, check out Katie-kate throwing her fish back into the water. It is her favorite part.

April Fool's Day

Ella was very sneaky and baked her dad a Callaway muffin
