Missing Kyle but Loving Utah

Although we miss Kyle tons, Utah has been a great fall vacation for us girls.

Reason? Home is where your grandmas live. Duh!

In general the kids run around in their pjs, without their hair done, exploring all this place has to offer.

It also doesn't hurt that they have Grandma Anne to cater to their every wish. I should have some good pix when we get home sunday.

I took Ella out of preschool this week. We gave it a month but the fit wasn't right.

Now every day the girls pick an animal and we learn about it. There are amazing resources online . . . so we color and cut and glue and learn trivia and watch the animals on youtube.

Feel free to ask Ella about sharks, hyenas, or leopards. Where they live, what they eat, what makes them unique . . .

Also, we booked some tickets to utah today, compliments of Dug. Thanks, Dad! Sept 20-Oct 4.

If we can only get there in one piece it should be a great time.

kyle is a babe

tonight kyle took the kids so i could have a break. he is awesome with his girls, me included, and i love him a lot.

kyle and i have had a great month. one bonus of living in a small town or not having a tv is you get to spend a lot of time together. we celebrated our 7th anniversary last month (even though we both thought it was our 8th), and saturday we went golfing for the first time as a family.

three words: golf carts rule!

this year has had a lot of surprises (including 1 due in dec.), but they have helped us set new goals and refine what we want to do with our lives. anyway, thanks, babe, for all you do! love ya!
